Nobody can answer this question...well...the people who can, will not give it out on Yahoo answers. I got the below from Texas Monthly.

"......Re: Fajita Marinade recipe

I had asked for the incredients the last time I was at Taco Cabana...and was told that they simply were delivered already pre-packaged and marinaded. The store personnel did not know the marinade ingredients."

I did a check at all the various Copy Cat Recipe sites, and after answering this, am going back...found a recipe for Honey Mustard sauce which looks to die for.

The first link goes to Texas Monthly, and the second to a Yahoo Search Page listing all the Copy Cat Sites.

Good luck with your hunt.

The Taco Cabana recipe is secret as are many other restaurant recipes, however you can buy fajita seasoning at HEB and or you can purchase their pre-marinated in the bag fajitas and just grill them. I sometimes add the fajita seasoning to a good Italian salad dressing and marinate overnight for a great result. If you experiment you will get close to what you want!

I'm sure its a company secret and you'll be very lucky to find it out. Try the food network for marinades or even the salad dressing aisle at your local grocer...those marinades are terrific!

Mix together tomato juice, lime juice, liquid hot pepper sauce, and crushed garlic cloves. Pour over the steak strips and refrigerate, stirring occasionally, for 4 hours.
